no title

okay I havent blogged in almost a week, but thats because I wasnt around. Been too stressed and in a different country state and not have access to a computer. The time I had access to a computer (my bro's house) the internet wasnt working -________-

so lets see here's a recap of what happened in the week

Wednesday - off to Port Dickson
Thursday - presentations the whole day
Friday - friday night back to KL met up with an accident.

-was in right lane doing 120-130
-a truck was in left lane doing 70-80
-truck tried to overtake a lorry in front of him.
-truck signaled for a duration of 0.5 seconds.
-truck moved out completely
-no amount of horn or flashing would make him go away
-if i break I will slam into the truck
-so I moved to the right of the right lane and used whats left of a highway that I was robbed of.
-In doing so my car fishtailed by hitting the divider once. (smashes front right lights)
-the bounce caused the back of the car to also hit the divider. (smashes back right lights)

-this caused front right tyre to go out of alignment so steering was useless but nevertheless I tried counter steering wherever I could
-spun several times
-ended up stopped in the middle of the road
-cars are coming at me at 140-150
-to prevent further damage to Reyhana I ordered those in the car with me to get out. No time. A myvi was coming right towards us but managed to get out of the way.
-a kancil braked but but couldnt stop in time so it hit my left door.
-the gan-chew wasnt too badly off, my left door was bent but still solid thanks to double safety beams.
-limped moved car out of the way

-went to the police station
-lodged report
-kena saman
-truck driver had already gone and got away with it (damn it, always always always take their number)
-tow truck company Tow Keh helped us sort things out.

- hitched a ride back to KL with one of my colleagues.

-Saturday, faxed over some insurance forms to the tow truck and mechanic.
-stayed at my bro's house
-went and lepak with Karin at Bangsar

-Sunday - washed bro's car and my bike
-watched DVD's all day
-Monday - cut hair, bought some shoes (ok 1 pair)
-faxed more documents

Tuesday - went for a seminar in JW marriott, Putrajaya
-fell asleep
-but gosh the MC was cute - boleh baling baling
-met up with our supplier Miss Loo.
-huhuhuh she made puppy dog eyes at me when she found out I do alot of purchasing.
-hmmmm....I do have her personal number after all.

...and here I am

ma hai

BABIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!

1st of all
why couldnt this have been finalised a week ago?
We were told that we can have buses to take us from SDTC to Guoman Port Dickson.
Then at 8.30 am Tuesday, 30 hours b4 departure you tell us we need to get ourselves there by carpooling? Do you know how difficult it is to gather 50 ppl and agree on who's to drive and who to go with who? Ma hai.

A week before you tell us we need to present on our projects and plans for 2008-2009. 1st of all, you want US to decide what we want to do for research and development. But if YOU aren't convinced and don't like the idea you can shoot US down? Can you step up and guide us to a direction. Fucking sick of it.

Another unrelated to work note:

Damn it why is it always like this? Suka sangat ke nak carik gaduh ngan aku? Sebab ape, ko suka menang kan? Sebab aku selalu mengaku kalah betul tak? Kalau aku salah, ingat ape, kena ikut ko aje? Macam anjing kutuk tau tak.

Hebat la ko. Aku dah tak sudi jadi binatang peliharaan enko. Percayalah, aku dah lain. Tak macam dulu. pukimak.

Our mentality

What is a sexy pose?
What is a sexy outfit?

In Malaysia you get all kinds of people from different cultural backgrounds. There are half a dozen festivals a year, when other countries probably only have 2 or 3.
You can go to a "pasar malam" and savour delicious servings of apam balik, taufu fah, satay, ayam perchik, yong tau fu the lsit goes on, when in other countries, shops and cafe's close at 5.30 pm and all you have left is McD's and Burger King.
You walk around the shopping malls and you see hundreds of lil kids, teenagers, adults, all in their weekend wear.
You walk on the streets in Auckland during summer and you see hundreds of lil kids, teenagers, adults in their summer wear.

Here I pose a question.
What is deemed sexy nowadays, a short skirt? A low cut top? Really really really short shorts?

If I were to walk around Malaysian shopping malls, its likely you will see more than a dozen girls of a particular race wearing shorts that are just long enough to cover their posteriors. In New Zealand you only see girls of ALL races wearing shorts to cover their posteriors during summer. Winter they are fully covered.

I'm not being racist, but do you notice who are the ones wearing really short pants at mamak stalls and shopping malls? Not saying its a bad thing either I'm sure there are many who perv at these little young ladies. Does that mean their parents dont worry about what they wear?

Now when a perfectly nice young lady wears seemingly non existant pair of shorts with her bf in the shopping mall, does that mean she's really really hot in the mall? As in, the air conditioner isnt working?
Or does it mean she likes to dress that way so her bf can see her beautiful soy milk coloured skinny leg?
OR does it mean that she's proud of her chicken legs and wants to show it off to the mall crowd?
heh but you dont see them wearing something really low cut coz er....theres nothing there.
Contrary to those in NZ, the maori girls wear neckline that will show off the biggest of over the shoulder boulders.

Going to clubs its a different story, most ladies prefer to wear sexy clothing simply because its the clubbing culture. Its fair to say she doesnt want to be touched and fondled by sleazy middle eastern men (yes I am being racist coz I do believe these men are sleaze bags) so what is the point of wearing something scanty? Obviously to be looked at right?

But lets say her boyfriend was around I think he should be okay with it. What if her boyfriend WASN'T around, does this mean she CANNOT wear like that? What kind of double standards are these?

Recently a friend of mine got mad at her bf (well her bf sendiri gali lubang terjun dalam) because he didnt like the way she dressed in public. In all honesty I think the way she dressed would impress even the Queen of England. But her bf didn't seem to think so. I believe the word he used was "sexy"

hmmmm

To me being sexy doesn't have to mean showing off your legs or showing cleavage or bare back. She could be perfectly covered and still be sexy.
But funny how some bf can perceive their gf to be sexy and be mad at them even when they are dressed decently. Then get mad at them tak tentu pasal. If you don't like your gf to be sexy in public places, fine, you have to let her know 1st well in advance.

I for sure don't let my gf walk around in a short skirt or really short pants anywhere we go. (referring to ex) And I don't let her wear something that shows off her cleavage. But at least I had let her know 1st. It also wouldn't make sense if I said she can wear something sexy ONLY when I'm around.

Do parents of Malaysian daughters (those not yet adults) mind if their kids wear something revealing?
I most certainly wont allow it.

Fucking bored

Not sure what to write but I'm just bored outta my mind.
I fucking hate my job. Just need to get out and run my own business. No bosses. No underlings. No protocols. No traffic jams.

Not that you guys will understand what I do for a living anyway. So by stating "I hate my job" most of you guys will probably assume this and that like bosses pressuring to get things done by deadline la, clients being total assholes la, work pilling up 4 stories high la.

Nah, thats not what I do. Forget it.

********************************************************************************

Oh a happy note, my friend is getting a brand spanking new Honda FD from her dad. I dont know if its a 2.0 or 1.8 or whether its a iDSI or Vtec but apparently she chose the Sparkling Grey. Very nice choice I must say as I hate silver and white. One thing I find annoying with the FD's is that they are all automatics. No conventional manuals.

********************************************************************************

I'll be getting the bike on Wednesday. But wont be driving it to work till next week. I dont know if its anything to do with global warming but at 7.30 when I'm about to board the train I'm already sweating like a pig. Thankfully its not too hot in the trains but when I get off and proceed to walk to my office my body liquid levels drop faster than I can drink a cup of air kosong ais. Its not so much the standing in the train for 30 minutes, but its the idea that I'm late because the train isn't on time.

If the train is suppose to arrive at 7.54 am, those who are late must wait for the next train. Dont hold up mine. This I blame Klang ppl. Its simply not fair that I waited patiently for 10 minutes only for the train to be late for another 5. Na beh.

********************************************************************************

When I was 12, my mom locked me out of the house when I got home at 7.05 pm instead of 7 pm after playing football. 5 minutes meant alot. Which is why till today I literally arrive at 7.00 wherever if thats the decided time.

********************************************************************************

So I will have 3 modes of transport.

1. A motorbike - for work. I estimate that I will take 35 minutes to get to work compared to 45 with train and 55 minutes with car.

2. Train - for those trips into KL for the weekends. I do not drive if I'm alone as it goes against my principles. Also why should I drive into KL only to go through trouble of getting parking, paying for parking, Toll, petrol. Doesnt make sense kan?

3. Car - for those drives with a bunch of ppl at night where you know traffic and parking wont be much of an issue.

Have I mentioned I love Korean girls?

Not that I would want to date one. They are really high maintenance.

From the 10-12th July is the Malaysia International Food and Beverage exhibition held at PWTC. My booth was pretty boring as SDTC only starting to produce padi.

er....no one eats padi...they eat rice. So we only displayed how we grow the padi and how they look like at different stages of growth.

The stall next to us belonged to Sime Fresh. This is our sister company and they specialise in growing butterhead lettuce, corn, they make sambal and produce it under Sunbeam brand.

*promote* SUNBEAM *promote*
available at Tesco and Cold Storage.

Huhuhuh I found myself bored at times so I visited the Korean booths. Gosh I never thought I would like to drink vinegar but pomegranite vinegar tea tasted so good! I had a couple of samples to try. Hehehe at times I found myself conversing in Korean with the cute cute ladies too. And I learned a new word

Bajiseyo! (which means "its delicious")
heheheh the korean lady replied "Sedap?"

I later thanked her and said "kamsa hamnida"
She said "sama sama"

weheeeeeeheheehehehe I love Koreans.

Pilu

Oh! Tuhanku
Mengapakah
Kau bezakan hidupku
Oh! Tuhanku
Mengapakah
Manusia begitu

Mengapa ku disiksa
Mengapa kita bersua
Berjumpa,
Tapi hati menderita.

Kepiluan terasa di kamar hatiku
pedihnya suwaktu daku ditinggalkan kamu.

Semenjak perkenalan kita tidak pula aku sangka bahawa aku akan terpedaya. Segala pertolongan dan perasaan aku ikhlas. Tetapi beginilah nasib apabila hati begitu mudah diambil kesempatan.

Beginilah nasib diriku yang malang
Bila bersua dengan yang calang.

Cant wait for the Bike

1489 vehicles to go.
the current number plate for Selangor is BKA 5380
I want BKA 6869 (oooh K.A. are actually initials of someone I know....hmmmmm)

5 things that I own and love and their names;

1. Michelle (purple electric guitar, a Yamaha series)

2. Ariel ( A steel acoustic guitar, Sonic series)

3. Shaza ( A classical acoustic guitar, Yamaha C60 series)

4. Reyhana (my car, a Satria Neo 1.6)

5. Angelica (my bike coming soon..........a Yamaha Fz150i)

My weekend

All went well except Saturday night.

I was so exhausted from the days activities...(buying gloves, watching movie with parents bla bla bla) and was supposed to go to Bangsar with Kai Lin but simply did not have the energy to go out. So instead I washed my car.

After every 2 or 3 months, I will wash the underside of the wheel fenders. This means I have to get the jack, and lift up the car so I can get at the fenders. Its not so much tiring, but its the tediousness of it all. Still, I do it for the passion.

After washing the underside of the right-front wheel, I got up and wanted to grab the hose to rinse off the soap.

(Some houses use cement driveways, some houses use tiles, my house we use slate. Slate is a very brittle material even a 5 yo child can break.)

A piece of slate had broken off and its not a big piece but a small piece about the size of a large paper clip . BUT, size matters not, the piece had the thickness of a kitchen knife! The piece interestingly (don't ask me how it got there) was jutting out of my slippers. When I wash the rims and all I sit on this sponge and the position causes my slippers to come off. This is perhaps how the broken piece got there.

Guess la what happened as I put my foot in my slipper.
[insert the sound made when something pokes your foot]

I peered at the sole of my foot and yes, a piece of slate had bored about 1 cm deep into my left foot.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

1. I cannot look at black blood as I will go into shock. Which doesn't happen till about 5 minutes. (lol talk about lag)

2. I hop scotched to the nearest bathroom and washed my foot. Rusty water spurted out. @$#^#&@& FUCK

Ok at least I got the dusty bits out. I called out to my dad to get the First aid kit. Not enough gause, not enough dettol, not enough band aid. >_< " " "

By this time my chest was pounding in my ears as i knew I was gonna turn into The Hulk
go into shock. Cold sweat poured out as did the blood from my foot.

Kinda weird seeing your own footprints in scarlet all along the marble floor. My dad helped me with the cotton swab and the dettol which oddly didn't hurt me when it was applied. The sky was some kinda blur of stars and colors, my head was down, my legs were up, entah la.

So I lay on the floor instead while trying to regain stability, yes blood still pouring out. Soon it stopped and band aid was secured.

I got up, hobbled along, ....and lowered my car as I didnt want to leave it sitting on the jack.

I cant edit my posts with IE at work. why????

Last saturday I went out with the boys to watch a movie. On the way home an old flame sms's me and says :

"jun, pls tell me you're free and you're in Klang. I'm on the way to Klang Centro. Theres a party at Modestos"

"oh no, I'll be heading for 2 weddings tonight. :( How about we meet up on monday instead? I'll be on leave"

"great!"

"i wanna watch either Kung Fu panda or Wanted"

"Wanted please, I've already watched KFP"

"alright"

So on Monday after I purchased my helmet (muahahahahaha) I set off looking for Kai Lin at the Pavillion. Gosh even looking for each other here is tricky.
1. Pavillion is huge.
2. Neither of us are familiar with the area.

We're both hungry so we go to the food court. She's wearing E******a as her perfume and so was I.
LOL I guess we had matching perfumes.

I ordered Korean mixed rice while Kai Lin ordered Asam Laksa. (pppfff how uncreative) You could tell we were both into our food coz lunch was pretty quiet with minimal chatter in between bites. After lunch we headed to GSC to purchase our tickets.

Gosh there were at least a dozen school children there. You know, during my time, kids in uniform were'nt allowed into shopping malls. Thats how bad the direction the country is moving in. GO HOME AND STUDY YOU TEENY BOPPERS!
Reached the counter and the lady asked
"Would you like the couple seats?"
"uh?..huh? what? yea"
(I wasnt sure if I heard her right, oh well whateva)
Turns out those are seats meant for couples or love seats. Woohoo! They are bigger and there's just so much more room.

After getting tickets we headed to Starbucks. I ordered my usual CM. Kai Lin says to me
"Do you wanna share a cheesecake?"
"Do YOU want a cheesecake?"
"LOL, wait for a bit"

(seriously, Kai Lin 7/10 times doesnt finish her food, AND we just had lunch, do you really think she'll have most of the cake? I doubt it. All the cake will go to me, sure, make Jun fatter)

Headed off to watch the movie.

*****************************

Wanted was okay. I expected more from Angelina Jolie, but too bad she wasnt the main character. I did like the car sequence though. And the main hero is just so cool! He kinda reminds me of me. We walked out of the cinema frozen like 2 ais krim potong.

*****************************

Overall it was a good day to catch up. I went home drained and dreamed of helmets and perfumes.

My weekend Part 2

1st Wedding

Two weddings took place AT THE SAME TIME.
One was my cousins (the girl), the other a friend of mine. I couldn't make it to my cousins wedding on the girls side last week due to problems with Air Asia. So i tried to attend the boys' side on Saturday.

This wedding was all the way in Putrajaya lake club. Waaaah my cousin looked so gorgeous in white and her husband in a white suit. So smaaaaarrttt!!

I left at 8.45 pm (about 10 minutes after the wedding started)

Dashed off to Subang like a mad man and I reached my friends wedding venue at 9.30,

BUT OH NO! I got the wrong venue! Its not at Hyatt Saujana, so i dashed off to
Holiday Villa Subang,
NOT THERE EITHER.

FARKKKKKKK###%%
Dashed too Sheraton.
NOPE

at this point I gave up. Went home and sulked. But then i saw the invite. Should I look at it? Should I? I did. It said

"KELAB GOLF NEGARA SUBANG!"
whaaaaaaaaat? It 10.30 pm.
I FLEW DOWNSTAIRS, locked up, and sprinted off to the club.

then realised I was running out of petrol. Quickly turned into Esso. Of course I dont have cash on me. So I took some money out of the ATM. Rejected!

WTTHHHH!!!!

I tried and after the 3rd time, managed to grab some money. Quickly filled up, and raced to KGNS. Finally I made it at 10.55 pm. siao.

2. My date
coming soon

My weekend Part 1

Here's what happened during the weekend. (and prior to that...)
(sorry, will update more on KK later)

Thursday

-Went to dinner with workmates at this nyonya restaurant in Subang Parade. I had nasi kuning pulut with rendang daging. sooo good. But the pulut was steaming so I had to keep fanning my mouth. Panas like mad.

-left dinner at 8.45 pm and had to dash off to KL. But alas, I couldn't make it to Pertama Complex on time. I was supposed to go there and buy gloves for my motorbike. Benci nyer....I got there and it was pissing down! I got thoroughly soaked and all I could think about was a nice hot chocolate next to a warm chimney fireplace.

*slaps self, wake up nutmeg you're in Malaysia la!*

-i stopped by Tune hotel to check out their rates. Not bad la the place. More on that later.

Saturday

-watched The Hulk with Rue and Ben at Bukit Tinggi Klang. Was quite impressed with the seats in the cinema. My knees didn't touch the front seats at all. I'm not a big fan of the Hulk but Stan Lee impressed me this time around. Later had lunch at a place called Pasta mania. Not prizes for guessing the type of food served. But it was delicious! 8/10 for me!
Headed to Big Apple for dessert.

-in the evening Prepared for 2 weddings. to go to. This one a bit de disaster. Read about it here.

Sunday

-woke up as early as 9.30 am to get ready? Ready for what?? MUAHAHAH HELMET SHOPPING. So i went to a big motorbike shop in Bukit Kuda to purchase a helmet. Its pretty light and has this button at the back, if you press it, blinking red LED lights come on. heheheh
this was the conversation with the girl who sold it to me.

Jun: *tries on some helmets*
Girl: hello! yes mau carik helmet ka? (you looking for a helmet aye?)
Jun: ya tapi ini tak muat la. (yea I cant seem to fit this one)
Girl: oooh itu semua S dan M punya. L sudah tala stock. Minggu ni baru dapat. (those are S and M sizes. The L ones have run out and they'll only arrive this week.)

Jun: oooh. Okay. I dont wanna wait, I'm just looking for a simple helmet with suitable size.
Girl: oooh itu Thailand punya size lain, Taiwan size lain. You cuba yg lama punya. (oh Thailand and Taiwan sizes are different. Try the old models)
Jun: wokey *tries an old model Taiwan mad* not bad. Boleh muat (it fits)

Girl: you boleh cuba ini 2nd hand punya. (try the 2nd hand ones)
Jun: *1st looks at girl then looks at brand of 2nd hand helmet.*
Ini AGV brand la. Made in Italy. Mahal. Saya ada budget lebih kurang Rm 500.
Girl: yup yup. Ini bagus. Harga dalam Rm 1095. (they're good. About Rm 1095)
Jun: -______- mahal! (so expensive)

Girl: ini pun boleh *shows me another one*
Jun: erh....ini pun AGV (this is also AGV)
Girl: yup, dalam Rm 1200.
Jun: -____________-" you pikir la! Saya mana boleh beli ini. Mahal tau! (I cant buy this! Its too pricey)
GirlL: heheheeeee
Jun: *macam nak cubit budak tu. Dah la muka comel.*

So I buy the one that fits nicely and paid for it. I got a 15% discount on it too.! weeeeee
I go home and relax a bit. Prepare for my date. Read it here.
